Harriet Herbig-Matten of Maxton Hall Is a Red Carpet Star in the Making

All eyes are on Harriet Herbig-Matten ahead of the premiere of Maxton Hall season 2, and she's making the most of the attention to solidify her fashion status as a rising star to keep an eye out for.

Hailing from Munich, Germany, 22-year-old Harriet Herbig-Matten rose to global prominence in May of 2024, when season one of Maxton Hall — The World Between Us, premiered on Prime Video. Her and co-star Damian Hardung's explosive chemistry catapulted the show to the top popularity spot, becoming the most-watched International Original series of all time for the streamer.

But, while portraying Ruby Bell in the fictional world of Maxton Hall, Herbig-Matten has also been cultivating her sartorial resume in the real world, giving us more than one splash-worthy look working in tandem with her stylist, Sophia Friedl. Case in point, her cobalt blue “naked dress” from the Maxton Hall season 2 premiere, which immediately went viral.

On October 17, 2025, Herbig-Matten stole the internet's attention with a cobalt blue take on the “naked dress” trend by Albanian-born CSM alum Nensi Dojaka. She wore the see-through dress over a silver G-string by Zodiaque, a female-led Berlin-based brand focusing on underwear, loungewear, and swimwear, and rounded off the look with Louboutin heels and Bvlgari jewelry.

Not content with the splash from the red carpet, Herbig-Matten changed into a second dress for the stage portion of the Maxton Hall season 2 premiere. The second dress, by Antonio Grimaldi, featured a see-through skirt train and a structured, embellished bodice.
