Ricky of ZEROBASEONE just debuted a brand new hair color with a matching monochrome look, taking the trend to the next level. On March 11, Gucci held a party in Shanghai, China to celebrate their Ancora collections, and Ricky attended, fully committing to the theme of the night; red (or Gucci Rosso, to be exact).
This is a major development for dedicated ZEROBASEONE fans, aptly named ZE_ROSE. Since Ricky first appeared on the Korean competition series Boys Planet, Ricky has had platinum blonde hair. Even after he debuted in ZEROBASEONE, Ricky has stuck to his signature color, only experimenting with black tips for a short while during the promotion cycle for their single “Crush.”
Now, Ricky is sporting an all new shade. At the Gucci party, Ricky debuted his brand new red hair, styled in his signature tousled look. The crimson hue was a bright and bold color, fitting for the upcoming spring season.
In addition to the new hair, Ricky also wore an entirely red outfit as well. He donned a double-breasted blazer in a dark ruby shade with a matching Gucci logo brooch and trousers. To complete the look, he accessorized with a pair of black loafers and some simple jewelry.
Ricky attended the Gucci event alongside his groupmate Zhang Hao. Like Ricky, Zhang Hao similarly went with a bold all-red look. He opted for a coordinated set, wearing an oversized shacket and shorts, both covered in the Gucci logo. For the final touches, he wore a pair of trendy high socks with sneakers featuring Gucci’s signature three stripes and a statement pendant necklace.
This isn’t the first time ZEROBASEONE members have been spotted at Gucci events. The group’s leader, Hanbin, made an appearance at the grand opening of the Italian fashion house’s Ancora pop-up in Seoul, South Korea earlier this month. Back in July 2023, Hanbin and groupmate Jiwoong also attended the Gucci men’s fall-winter presentation 2023 collection in Seoul. It looks like ZEROBASEONE and Gucci’s relationship continues to bloom.
