Happy birthday, Zaya Wade! Wade rang in her 18th birthday with a spectacular celebration alongside her friends and family — and raised money for the Trans Wellness Center too!
The party took place in Zaya's hometown of Los Angeles with guests including her father, Dwyane Wade, and stepmother, Gabrielle Union. For the party, Zaya wore two gorgeous white outfits, starting with a strapless gown covered in intricate beading and a soft, ruffled chiffon train.
Zaya Wade wore her second dress, a knee-length white Coach slip-dress style with lace on the bodice and hem, to enjoy her birthday cake and accept a $100,000 check from MAC Cosmetics for the Trans Wellness Center — an organization that is close to Zaya's heart. She styled the beaded gown with strappy aqua sandal heels and the second dress with a chic pair of chunky black loafers and a “Z” necklace. Zaya wore her hair down in long waves, and on her eyes, Zaya matched the ethereal vibes of her dress with a shimmering metallic blue-gray eyeshadow accented by a constellation of white dots all across her eyelid, crafted by MAC makeup artists. Glossy lips and a metallic black cat-eye manicure finished off her 18th birthday glam.
Zaya's birthday party was co-hosted by Calypso Jete Balmain, winner of the first season of Legendary on Max, and the party was also a celebration of the one-year anniversary of Translatable, an organization for LGBTQIA+ youth/resource hub for parents and caregivers that was founded by Zaya and Dwyane in 2024. Guests received a fab gift bag with items from brands like Summer Fridays, Sol de Janeiro, and Tower 28.
