Out with the old, and in with what's new on Netflix April 2022! This month, not only do beloved 2000s classics make a comeback to the streaming service, but a long list of Netflix Originals arrive, too.

Have a mini-Y2K marathon by welcoming back the British rom-com staple Love Actually, the 2004 Hilary Duff classic A Cinderella Story, and Mary-Kate and Ashley's rebellious comedy New York Minute. Other additions include Christopher Nolan's mind-bending Inception, the entire Blade trilogy (aka, the OG Marvel comic book adaptation), and childhood faves like Shrek Forever After, How to Train Your Dragon, and Grown Ups.
When it comes to original content from Netflix, April has got you covered. The long-awaited fifth season of Elite arrives this month, as well as the second season of Russian Doll. The highly-anticipated second part of the final season of Ozark also drops, and the Love Is Blind creators try another reality dating experiment with The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On.
Metal Lords also premieres on April 8, starring It and Knives Out actor Jaeden Martell. Written by one of the co-creators of Game of Thrones and led by the director of Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, the teen comedy follows two misfits who set out to start a heavy metal band at their high school… where no one is interested in heavy metal.
