Take one look at the images from the VS Show taping and you can tell that there's something very different about this year's Victora's Secret Fashion Show. From the number of models and performers to the $3 million fantasy bra, every detail is truly next-level.
Well, as The New York Times is reporting, the biggest difference this year was the budget. VS Show executive producer Edward Razek tells the paper that after 18 months and over $20 million, this year's show was the most expensive fashion show ever.
Between the intense security, 43 pairs of wings, and the cost of heating the Grand Palais, it cost more to produce than every single fashion show to come before it. Surprisingly, this isn't the only fashion record the show is expected to break. When it airs Monday night on CBS, it will likely be the most viewed one ever with 800 million viewers in over 190 countries — even more than the Superbowl. If that won't get you excited for Monday's airing at 10pm, I don't know what will.
