By now, you have encountered the water bottle "flip heard round the world." At his school talent show, Michael Senatore emerged on stage with a cylindrical piece of plastic and and everything to lose, but he nailed it, tossing the bottle on its head to a standing ovation.

Shortly after the clip went viral, a water bottle allegedly signed by Michael sold for over $15,000. And yeah, not even the water bottle. A different water bottle.
Bids started climbing as soon as the item went for sale on eBay, with numbers in the thousands shortly after it went on sale.

Although, according to the guy that taped the whole thing, it wasn't even the same brand as the one Michael used on stage.

Now, this potential hoax of a thing is listed as sold for $15,100, despite fine print specifying that it's a different bottle.
Honestly, whoever bought this should have to pay all of our student loans.
UPDATE: We reached out to Michael to see whether he knew anything about the listing.
"I know the kid who put that bid up, he is a good friend of mine," he told Teen Vogue via Twitter. "The top bidder turned out to be a fake, so it was re-listed. That bottle is just some signed bottle, not the one used in the act. It has been flipped by me once."
