Sarocha Chankimha, better known by her nickname Freen, just made history with her Met Gala 2025 red carpet arrival. The Gap star just became the first Thai actress to attend the Met Gala, and of course, she dressed accordingly for the momentous occasion.
The look was designed to honor the Met Gala 2025 theme “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” and dress code “Tailored for You.” Freen wore an eggshell colored blazer with a black fur trim and a pink bow and a maxi skirt with a thigh-high slit. To complete the outfit, she opted for lace tights and a gem-embroidered undershirt.
As for beauty, Freen opted for a soft and glowy look. She wore her long dark hair in a middle part with soft curls. On the eyes, she wore a pink-ish nude eyeshadow, accentuated by wispy eyelashes. She finished the look with a healthy touch of pink blush and a nude lip.
Freen has been a Valentino brand ambassador since January 2025. In March 2025, she travelled to Paris Fashion Week for the Valentino show. For her front row seat, Freen wore a lace black and white Peter Pan collar blouse embroidered with tassels and a black satin skirt. She accessorized to the max with a bow hat, lace gloves, and a bag covered with charms.
However, Freen has been building her fashion portfolio for quite some time now. In 2024, she walked the Cannes Film Festival red carpet in a classically chic red ball gown. She also gave a lesson in color blocking at Variety’s Global Conversations event there. Later in the year, she also attended the Red Sea International Film Festival 2024 and walked the red carpets in a high-low black dress with a lining of puffy white tulle and a sparkly black bodycon mock neck dress with cut-outs. For the Women in Cinema event, she donned a white mini dress with beaded fishnet tights and fuzzy white satin rings adorning her.
And now, Freen has marked another major milestone off the list. She joins Bright as the first Thai actors to attend the historic Met Gala, often dubbed fashion’s biggest night, in New York City.
