Sydney Sweeney expertly took down troll comments making heinous remarks about her body with a simple Instagram video.
The actor was recently photographed by The Daily Mail sunbathing and lounging in her backyard in the Florida Keys. Sweeney looked relaxed and at home in her purple bikini and rectangular sunglasses, but the comments under the article were filled with faceless users who had a lot to say about her appearance. At just 27 years old, Sweeney's already had to endure a lot of chatter about her body, but this particular set of commenters proved that many people have no boundaries to what they say online.
In response to the commenters, Sweeney shared a video without a caption on Saturday that included multiple screenshots of the awful comments — along with their usernames — that made digs at her body and her face. She then ended the video with a compilation of the intense training she endured while preparing for the role of boxer Christy Martin. Sweeney showed off the impressive muscles she's built ahead of the role and the clear hard work she put in.

The comments were filled with other celebrities praising Sweeney for taking a stance against the trolls, including Anyone But You co-star Glen Powell, who wrote, "You’re such a badass.
This movie is gonna be 🔥." Outer Banks star Madelyn Cline wrote, “I truly love it here,” while Ziwe simply posted the strong arm emoji. Lili Reinhart wrote, “It’s always wild to see people publicly out-themselves as pieces of sh*t with comments like that. You look incredible and your dedication to your project is very inspiring.”
Sydney Sweeney has stayed booked and busy since her breakout role as Cassie in Euphoria made her a household name. She shared behind-the-scenes photos of the upcoming Christy Martin biopic in a post on Instagram in October, looking unrecognizable with brown curly hair. Sweeney made the announcement after paparazzi took photos of the set and wrote in the caption, “Over the past few months, I’ve been immersed in training to bring to life the story of an incredible woman—a true champion who fought battles both inside and outside the ring.” It was also announced that Sweeney would star alongside Amanda Seyfried in the adaptation of best-selling thriller The Housemaid.
So, needless to say, she's won against the trolls.
