Justin Bieber just left a sweet comment on his past flame Sofia Richie's Instagram, but, unfortunately his fans have a lot of not-so-nice thoughts about it. Yet again.

As J-14 noted, Justin was fan — leaving not one, but TWO comments on the post: "You are gorgeous" followed by "!!" for added emphasis.
Unfortunately, it looks like people are taking this opportunity to leave some vicious and frankly unnecessary comments beneath the pic.
There are also a bunch of people commenting snake emojis, and even worse, comparing her to other celebs that Justin has been linked with. Not only is this misguided, it's highly inappropriate. Pitting Justin's exes against each other is not OK, and none of these women are defined by their relationship to him. Nor should they be attacked for whatever goes on in their personal lives.
Unfortunately, this is nothing new for Sofia, who had to deal with a similar situation earlier this year. Back in March, Justin commented on a picture she posted of herself from Flaunt Magazine, writing, "Ur so pretty." This caused Justin fans to lash out at her for seemingly no reason. Previously, Justin also deleted his Instagram after people were harassing Sofia.
That said, We'd encourage everybody to play nice on cyberspace: If you don't have something positive to say, simply refrain. After all, celebrities are humans with valid feelings, too. And FYI, making a nasty comment about someone else is NOT proving your love for them.
