Pauline Chalamet looks a little different these days. The Sex Lives of College Girls star, who plays Kimberly in the Max series, just debuted what may be her longest hairstyle ever.
Chalamet-as-Kimberly has had short hair for the majority of the show's three-season run, with a chin-length bob being her longest length so far. But in a new Instagram post, Chalamet's hair is a lot longer, falling all the way down to the top of her hips.
In the pic, the actor's hair is parted in the center and styled in loose, beachy waves that just keep going and going, nearly hitting the waistband of her skirt.
Chalamet rocked the long style for a day of press in NYC, and the extra inches were even more dramatic with the wind blowing against her strands. (Also, can we talk about her chic 'fit?)
The added length is probably the result of extensions, but Chalamet's own hair has also grown out quite a bit since season one of the hit show when it was super, super short; as of late, she's been rocking a lob style that just brushes her collarbones.
Season 3 of Sex Lives of College Girls of the series premiered in November, with the girls heading into their sophomore year at Essex College. There was drama between Whitney and Kimberly, given that Whitney caught Kimberly kissing Canaan. “I was like, ‘Oh no, this is drama. It's going to be drama. Why is there drama?’” Chalamet previously told Teen Vogue of the messy moment. “But I just think it also gives room to explore at the top of season three. That's going to be such a big interest for the audience too, to see how [fans] react.”
If you watched the first few episodes, you'd know how that's handled but we shall keep this spoiler free. We do know Kimberly is on a journey of self-discovery — and Chalamet herself seems to be channeling the same energy with the chameleonic hair transformation.
