White dresses and bikinis! A veil! Big balloon letters! Selena Gomez might be an award-winning actor, singer, and Rare Beauty founder, but she's also a bride-to-be who had what appeared to be a traditional bachelorette party.
The future Mrs. Benny Blanco celebrated her forthcoming nuptials to the super producer by hosting a delightfully normal and fun bachelorette party in Cabo, Mexico. Gomez shared a rare, intimate glimpse of her celebrations on Instagram on August 28, with a carousel of photos and videos with her closest friends.
Gomez showed the gorgeous villa she and her friends stayed in to celebrate her final moments (weeks or months?) as a single woman. The house they stayed in looked luxurious and came complete with a large pool and beach access. At one point, the group was watching the cult classic movie Wedding Crashers.
The decorations in the villa were an elevated version of what you'd see at any bachelorette party — including balloon letters that say “Bride” and “ Mrs. Levin” (Blanco's real name is Benjamin Joseph Levin). The crew also carried around cut-outs of Blanco's face on wooden sticks.
Gomez was glowing in the photos, as she looked completely at peace, surrounded by her friends. She shared pics of the group wearing matching sweatpants, and the crew laughing while sitting on a couch together. In the video compilation — set to Katy Perry's “Teenage Dream," which was produced by Blanco — the women were all dancing on a boat, laughing together on the patio, and enjoying a private dinner on the beach.
The couple, who got engaged in December 2024 after more than a year of dating, has been gushing over each other since they got together, but hasn't spilled exactly when the wedding will be. Blanco shared photos on his Instagram Story showing his own bachelor party in Las Vegas.
Selena Gomez held her bachelorette party around the same time that her friend Taylor Swift also announced her engagement to Travis Kelce. Swift was not at her bachelorette party, but maybe Gomez will make an appearance at what's sure to be a big celebration.
Congratulations to the bride-to-be — we can't wait to see photos from the big day!
