In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, Sabrina Carpenter opened up about her infamous "Nonsense" outros, which tend to go massively viral across social media, and admitted that despite the often explicit nature of the verses, they are actually a lot more introspective than they are just purely sexually titillating.
"I feel like I've learned a lot more about sexuality through writing [the outros] than people think," Carpenter admitted in the interview. “I think people think I'm just obnoxiously horny when in reality, writing them comes from the ability to not be fearful of your sexuality as opposed to just not being able to put it down.”

While some are just cute nods to the specific city she's performing in, more often than not, she takes the NSFW route — especially during her more recent Eras Tour stops supporting Taylor Swift.

In her Cosmo interview, Carpenter also opened up about generally being scrutinized by the public, especially when it comes to her romantic life, saying: “I wish more people knew that there's nuance, as opposed to taking everything on the internet as fact. But for some reason, it's very black and white when it comes to the internet and the way that people on the internet are portrayed. I have to laugh at it, though, because sometimes I read some funny sh*t, but it almost feels like I'm reading about someone else.”
To wrap up her interview, Carpenter also offered two essential sex tips: 1) “Whatever you do, don't get pregnant.” And 2) "Do whatever feels most comfortable to you.
