The show did not go on on April 10, when fans who flocked to the Sabrina Carpenter Portland show at the Keller Auditorium weren't able to see their fave onstage, as the concert was abruptly canceled after law enforcement officials received a "credible security threat" and sprang into action.

As noted by Rolling Stone, Sabrina Carpenter's Portland, Oregon show was originally supposed to take place at the Crystal Ballroom, another venue in the city, but was moved to the Keller Auditorium to allow for more space. However, on Monday night, the prior venue received an anonymous yet “credible threat." Crystal Ballroom staff quickly alerted the Keller Auditorium and authorities about the potential security issue.

“Employees with the Crystal Ballroom called after they received a phone call from an anonymous person claiming they were going to blow up the venue,” Lieutenant Nathan Sheppard with the Portland Police Bureau told Rolling Stone.

The show was then canceled shortly after opening act Spill Tab took the stage, about an hour before Sabrina's performance, for the safety of Sabrina, her band and crew, her fans, and venue employees.

“While the threat was not directed at Keller Auditorium specifically, Sabrina and event organizers agreed that out of an abundance of caution, the show be called off,” a rep from AEG Presents, the concert's promoter, also shared with the publication. “Steps were taken to ensure that the audience exited the venue calmly, quickly and safely.”

Thankfully, according to Lieutenant Sheppard, “nothing blew up” that evening, and AEG confirmed to RS that fans will be issued refunds for the canceled show.

"I can’t tell you how much it breaks my heart," Sabrina wrote in a note to her Portland fans, posted on Twitter during the early hours of Tuesday morning. "This is the last thing I wanted to do, but due to unforeseen circumstances we will not be able to perform tonight." Sabrina added that she and her team were "doing our best" to reschedule the show. "I am so sorry. I love you very much."
