Unlike Charli XCX's viral song, you don't have to guess the color of Rihanna's underwear because she'll tell you (and show you) herself.
Rihanna is officially tapping into the Brat summer phenomenon by returning to her golden street style days and cheekily showing off her panties in a new video posted to her Instagram. “Since I clearly won’t be achieving my six pack til next summer, I switched my summer goal to matching my shoes to my panties!” the singer and beauty mogul wrote in the caption of her new video.
In the clip, we see Rihanna putting on a twist on the schoolgirl aesthetic, posing wearing a pleated mini skirt in a checkered beige pattern from Miu Miu paired with a loose baby blue shirt that she wore unbuttoned showing off her black bra. The star accessorized with a blonde, side-swept mullet-esque hairdo, a couple of chain necklaces, a nano Louis Vuitton speedy bag, black Puma creepers from her own collection, and white socks.
Proving that she kept her word, Rihanna does a little peekaboo hop in the middle of the video to show off her panties, which are indeed black to match both her bra and her shoes. If that's not Brat behavior, I don't know what is!

Rihanna seems to be back on her street style beat because the matchy-matchy look isn't the only OOTD we've gotten from the star this week, either. On July 23, 2024, Rihanna was also spotted in the Flat Iron District in New York City, seemingly getting ahead of the fall trends despite the city's rising temperatures.
For the outing, she chose a pair of camo cargo pants (keep an eye out for statement prints this coming season!) paired with a long-sleeve racing jersey in a striking blue color that she actually already wore in 2022 (gorgeous gorgeous girls are outfit repeaters!) and her hair in a braided updo. This time around, Rih accessorized with a large monogram Gucci bag, a Fenty lip gloss, and a pair of Puma x Ottolinger Mostro Ecstasy sneakers.
