If you were looking for K-dramas for free to watch, you are going to want to be seated for this one. In celebration of its second annual International K-drama Day on November 29, Rakuten Viki is going to be offering a bunch of coveted titles free of cost on its platform.
Viki's annual celebration was launched in 2023 "to celebrate the growing popularity and fandom of Korean entertainment across the globe." In its second interaction, International K-drama Day is back and bigger than ever.
Since it was announced on November 18 and culminating on the big day, Viki has been releasing exclusive content all to do with K-dramas — including giveaways with signed merch, new interviews with actors, and the cherry on top, free access to premium content for a limited time.
Starting November 29 and for two full weeks, fans will be able to tune in to 10 of the streamer's most popular K-dramas for free, which, as the brand noted in a press release, marks “the largest number of premium titles made available for free in the platform's history.”
These titles include Cha Eunwoo-led True Beauty and A Good Day to Be a Dog, as well as Park Seojoon and Park Minyoung's hit drama What's Wrong with Secretary Kim, Gong Yoo's Guardian: The Great and Lonely God, My Lovely Lia with NU'EST's Hwang Minhyun and Kim Sohyun, Perfect Marriage Revenge, My Sweet Mobster, Serendipity's Embrace, DNA Lover, and Cinderella at 2 AM. You can enjoy the titles in full without a paid subscription until December 13, so plan your watch parties accordingly!
