Rachel Zegler shared a sweet throwback photo that proves she's always been born to play Snow White.

In honor of Disney's live-action remake of the 1937 film being released in theaters last week, Zegler decided to show that she was always ready to play the titular role. On Saturday, March 22, Zegler posted a sweet throwback photo of herself when she was a child wearing a Snow White costume. The cute picture shows Zegler in the signature blue, yellow, and red gown, complete with a bow in her dark hair and purple sunglasses. Zegler is all smiles in the picture, which was taken in 2004.

“2004➡️NOW — dreams really do come true,” Zegler captioned the photo. “‘snow white’ is now in theaters! 🍎”

Since Snow White was released on Friday, Zegler has been sharing behind-the-scenes photos and videos from the filming process. In one carousel of photos, Zegler shared a video of what appears to be her last day filming on set and giving a heartfelt speech to the cast and crew.

“It's hard to do what we do and to make movies, but I love it so much because I get to see you guys,” Zegler said. “I'm really really thankful that so many of you have been with us for three summers and if you were here for two or just back for this one, you're part of such an important family to me. This has been such a hard, wonderful journey and I'm so thankful to have been on it with you all, so thank you.”

Rachel Zegler has been promoting the Disney princess film across the world over the last several months, including making appearances on talk shows in monochromatic outfits, talking with Ariana Grande about the pressures of backlash, and wearing custom gowns to the premiere.
