BTS's ARIRANG era is officially here. The K-pop juggernauts have officially released their fifth full-length studio album and will shortly thereafter embark on a world tour across Asia, North America, Europe, Latin America, and Australia, which will keep them busy until well into 2027.
If you already have your tickets for one of the 80+ dates on the septet's world tour—their first since 2022's Permission to Dance on Stage!!!—then it's time to start prepping your concert outfits. To help you on your quest, we have rounded up some outfit ideas to wear to BTS's ARIRANG world tour.
1. All Aboard
The first official visual for the ARIRANG era is the “Swim” music video, so why not get inspiration from it to craft your tour outfits? Thankfully, sailorcore has been trending, so you won't look like a fish out of water if you go this route—pun very much intended. There are two routes you could take here: either channel the member's nautical looks (whether you opt for a sailor hat or a hussar-inspired jacket, it's up to you), or channel Lili Reinhart and go for a silk or satin nightgown-inspired dress. If you do go for the latter, don't forget a good coat!
2. All Red Everything
While we haven't gotten any official performances from BTS's new era yet, judging by the teasers, it seems ARIRANG will be all about the color red. Since the album announcement, BTS has rebranded their logo to feature red prominently, and even their cryptic “What Is Your Love Song” campaign, which promotes the album, features a predominantly red color palette. So, why not go all in with an all-red look for the tour? Extra points if you carry a rose alongside your Army Bomb. (Or wear rose motifs!)
3. Rep Your Favorite Era
BTS might be entering a new era with ARIRANG, but the occasion also marks the group's first tour in four years, which means a retrospective of sorts could be a really cute way to go about planning your concert outfit—whether you go all the way back to School Trilogy with punk-inspired fits or black baseball shirts, or go full pastel with the fan favorite Love Yourself. You can really get creative here. You are picking your favorite era to inform your look, which could mean drawing inspiration from the color palettes in each album's imagery, recreating a specific look from certain MVs, or even your favorite concert look from past years.
4. Bora Life
BTS might be revamping their color palette to feature mostly red for this new ARIRANG era, but the group will forever be associated with one color in particular: purple, or 보라 (bora) in Korean. If you are all about that borahae life and have been for a while, what better way to show that than by donning some purple?
5. Chanel Your Bias
If you have a bias in BTS, then you surely have a favorite look from your bias, so why not draw inspiration from it for your concert outfit? You can choose to recreate it to a T or simply pull the key elements from it, and it can be any type of outfit—from airport looks to candid moments immortalized on Instagram.
6. Pull From Their Brands
Another way to show support for your bias and BTS as a whole is to include a piece from the brands they represent in your concert outfit. Over the years, all of the BTS members have become ambassadors for various brands, so you can truly mix and match options in this category. Some of the luxury brands the members have become faces of include Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Dior, Bottega Veneta, and Celine, so if you own a statement piece from any of these houses, rep it for the tour. If you don't, there are some great secondhand pieces online for all tastes and for discounted prices. If you want to go all in on the ambassadorship, you can balance out the looks with more casual pieces from Alo and Calvin Klein.
7. Suit Up
Over the years, the BTS members have been known to ace a suit look—whether it is their multi-colored suits at the 2022 Grammys, their butter-yellow and various shades of gray numbers at the 2021 AMAs, or a classic black-and-navy look at formal functions. The septet even rocks suits on the cover of ARIRANG. Coordination is key, so this might be a better outfit idea if you are planning on going to the concert with a group of friends. Bonus points if you add a tie to make it even more ARIRANG coded.
8. When In Doubt, Rely on Accesories
If you don't have a clear roadmap of what to wear to your concert date, fret not—you can just rely on your tried-and-true outfit formula and add some key accessories to make your outfit concert-friendly. If you've got merch from previous tours, feel free to dust them off or grab a new BT21 keychain charm for your bag. A new album calls for new photocards, so a new holder to add to your belt or bag to display your ARIRANG pull can also be a nice addition. If you want to join in on the red and purple waves without going for a monochrome or statement look, use key accents via your bag, sneakers, or other accessories.
