It's finally here: the Oscars, the biggest award show night of the year. And this year, more than ever, everyone is talking about the nominees — though not for the best of reasons. It's the second year in a row that every nominee for Best Actor and Actress, and Best Supporting Actor and Actress are white. As such, #OscarsSoWhite has shifted the focus to the lack of diversity in the Academy, and in the 88 years of the show's history. Changes are hopefully slated to happen within the next few years, but it will still loom large as this year's winners are announced.
