The bromance is real.

Now that Niall Horan's first solo song is out (it dropped out of nowhere this morning), we can't help but want more. Though a track with the rest of the boys would be ideal, "This Town" really showcases Niall's true strengths as an artist. This guy can put a smile on anyone's face simply with an acoustic guitar in hand and a few lines of his honest lyrics.

Let's go ahead and address the elephant in the room, however: what does releasing music on his own really mean for Niall and One Direction? "We’re just taking a break and kind of doing our own thing," he said in an interview with SiriusXM Hits 1 host Sypder Harrison. Come on Niall, give us something we don't know. He went on to say, "I definitely won’t rule [a reunion] out because it’s the best thing that One Direction has allowed us to do things like this, and I definitely won’t rule it out" and added that "Our lives wouldn’t be the same" without the band. (Same, TBH.)

For now, at least Niall's got the support of his boys. Well, sadly minus Zayn Malik — but given the warm congratulations Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne all gave their former bandmate, we have a feeling Niall's doing just fine. The 1D bromance lives on in the tweets.
