Forget waiting 10 more years for another Jonas Brothers album — Nick Jonas just spilled the exciting news that the next record will be announced in just a matter of weeks.
In an interview with NBC’s Today, Nick did more than just hint at an album, he confirmed a relative timeline for when fans can expect more info. “We have been back in the studio with Ryan Tedder, working hard on the new record, which is going to be announced in the next couple weeks — title, track list, all that,” Nick said, per Billboard.
The brothers are already fresh off some new releases. In January, they dropped new single, “What a Man Gotta Do,” which they then performed at the Grammys as a mashup with another new song called “Five More Minutes.” At the Grammys, they teased that both songs were off a “forthcoming album,” so the confirmation isn’t entirely a surprise, though the timeline is. It actually hasn’t even been a full year since the last Jonas Brothers record, Happiness Begins, which came a full decade since their previous full album, Lines, Vines, and Trying Times.
But we’ll never say no to new Jonas Brothers music, even if they do have a lot on their plate at the moment, what with Nick coaching on The Voice and Joe Jonas reportedly expecting a baby with wife Sophie Turner (in addition to filming his Quibi show, Cup of Joe). With all the exciting JoBros news in the air, come on boys, bring the (new) chorus around!
