Attorneys for Megan Thee Stallion, (Megan Pete) filed a civil lawsuit on Wednesday accusing social media personality Milagro Gramz (Milagro Elizabeth Cooper) of working on behalf of Tory Lanez, “[performing] Mr. Peterson’s public bidding to denigrate, belittle, insult, and spread false statements” about the rapper.

The lawsuit, filed in the Southern District of Florida on behalf of Megan Thee Stallion, alleges that Cooper “shared a doctored, artificially created video of Ms. Pete purportedly engaged in sexual acts without [her] knowledge or consent." The suit cites a Florida statute prohibiting promotion of “altered sexual depictions.”

“Enough is enough,” wrote Megan’s attorneys at the law firm Quinn Emanuel in the lawsuit. “Ms. Pete—a victim of violent crime and champion of women’s rights to her millions of fans worldwide—will no longer stand for the defendant's campaign of harassment.”

The lawsuit went on to accuse Gramz of cyberstalking, “intentional infliction of emotional distress,” and “invasion of privacy, false light.”

Gramz seemingly acknowledged the lawsuit in a post on X, writing that she had “been informed that I’m being sued by Alex Spiro on behalf of his client Megan Thee Stallion.” Gramz continued in the post, “Of course we’ll chat about it. They threw in the tape too.”

“Countersuit gone go crazy,” Gramz shared in another post on X.

The lawsuit also claims that Gramz shared “falsehoods” about the rapper’s case against Tory Lanez, including questioning whether she was even shot and claiming Megan was “caught trying to deceive the courts again.”

“Most recently, on October 27, 2024, Defendant Cooper made the false and outlandish claim that the firearm Mr. Peterson used to shoot Ms. Pete had gone missing,” the suit reads

Tory Lanez (Daystar Peterson) was convicted in December 2022 after being found guilty of shooting Megan in the foot. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison in August 2023 and has filed an appeal, which remains pending.

“Defendant Cooper’s statements recklessly disregarded the truth and suggested that the firearm was never presented in court because it had allegedly disappeared. It has not,” the lawsuit states. “The firearm remains in the custody of the Los Angeles Police Department.”

The suit also claims that she engaged in “unlawful promotion” and “encouraged her followers” to watch the deepfake video.

“Defendant Cooper willfully and maliciously promoted the Deepfake Video without Ms. Pete’s consent,” the suit reads.

In a statement to Teen Vogue, attorneys for Torey Lanez, and now Milagro Gramz, said, “Milagro Elizabeth Cooper has been served a lawsuit making a lot of false claims against her professional conduct in an attempt to stop her from reporting on the Daystar Peterson (AKA Tory Lanez) case…Unite the People Inc. has agreed to take on the defense of Milagro Cooper... as well as any other social media influencer, journalism platform, journalists, podcast, or reporter of any type that has received this lawsuit against them or any other form of bullying/ harassment to silence them from their right to free speech.”
