Lori Harvey and Damson Idris are officially no more. The pair, who were first romantically linked in December of 2022, officially announced their breakup on November 7, 2023.

Lori Harvey and Damson Idris confirmed their split in a joint statement to The Hollywood Reporter on Tuesday, explaining that the decision was mutual, amicable, and — as is usually the case with celebs — a result of their busy schedules. “We are at a point in our lives where our individual paths require our full attention and dedication,” the former couple said. “We part ways remaining friends with nothing but love and respect for each other and the time we shared together.”

The duo were first linked after being spotted together having dinner at a West Hollywood restaurant together in December 2022. THR reports that the breakup comes “after a little more than one year of dating,” implying that the couple began dating a few months earlier than this first public appearance together.

They hard-launched their relationship on social media in January 2023, when Idris shared a sweet post to commemorate Harvey’s birthday. The last time the couple was spotted together was on October 13, 2023, while attending the Golden State Warriors vs. Lakers game at Los Angeles's Crypto.Com Arena.

Prior to confirming their split, fans had already been speculating about a potential breakup between the model and Snowfall actor, rumors which reached a head earlier this week when Harvey and Idris were seen arriving separately at Odell Beckham Jr.'s birthday party in New York City, not-so-coincidentally just one day before releasing their joint statement.

The split might have been amicable, but that hasn’t stopped both parties from deleting all traces of each other on their social media accounts, where there used to be #couplegoals pics aplenty. As ET notes, they also stopped following each other on Instagram — though it’s worth noting Idris now has that nonchalant “0 following” indicator on the app.

Whatever the reasons might be, there’s plenty of fish in the sea, a fact Harvey knows well. The model has never shied away from sharing her relationships with the world. Back in 2016, Harvey dated Dutch soccer player Memphis Depay before getting engaged in 2017 and separating in 2018. She was then rumored to have dated Trey Songz before moving on to rapper Future in January 2020. The couple called it quits in August after eight months of dating, before Harvey famously hit things off with Michael B. Jordan in November 2020. Jordan and Harvey later called it quits in June 2022, and the rest, as they say, is herstory.

Given Harvey's prolific love life and news of her split from Idris, some are already theorizing which names could be added to her dating track record next — topping the list are actors Kofi Siriboe and Trevante Rhodes, musicians Skepta and Jack Harlow, and athletes Stefon Diggs and Ja Morant. Whatever she decides, we just have one thing to say: Good for her. The patron saint of single girls has returned.
