Lil Nas X is doing “much better” after he was seemingly hospitalized for losing control of the right side of his face.
Variety reports that Nas posted a video to Instagram on Monday, showing himself trying to smile in a hospital bed. "This is me doing a full smile right now, by the way,” he says in the video, one side of his face in a big grin while the other stays fairly static. “I’m just like, what the f*ck? I can’t even laugh right bro, what the f*ck? Oh my God, bro. So… yeah.”
The star told fans not to worry about him shortly after posting the video, but in the days since, Nas, who appears to be out of the hospital, has continued to keep fans updated on his progress.
“It's getting better y'all, I promise," he said in an Instagram story on Tuesday, showing fans his improving grin. He smiled more fully and was walking outside as he recorded.

On Wednesday, Nas posted that he'd been chewing a lot to strengthen his facial muscles, saying that his control of his mouth is “much better,” but his “eye though still has to play catchup.” Nas joked that he looks like he's winking at random people on the street, and later posted J. Cole's song, “Crooked Smile.”
Nas didn't say why he lost control of his face or whether he received a diagnosis, so it's not clear what caused the apparent medical event. What is clear, though, is that Nas is in high spirits and seems happy. He seems to be OK and recovering quite well. In his words: “It's going to take a lot more than that to keep a bad b*tch down.”
