This year has been nothing short of eventful for LE SSERAFIM. The K-pop quintet kicked off their 2023 with their Japanese debut, followed by the release of their first-ever studio album, Unforgiven, in May, and their first tour, Flame Rises, which took them from South Korea all the way to Japan, Hong Kong, and Indonesia.
To keep up the strike of firsts, before the holiday season, the girls also set off on their very first trip across the United States, stopping over in New York and Los Angeles to promote their first English-language digital single, “Perfect Night,” making their U.S. TV debut at NBC's Today. Though Kim Chaewon was unable to join her bandmates for the first half of the trip, she recovered in time to join the rest of the girls in L.A., where they wowed the crowd at Blizzard Entertainment's annual BlizzCon.
As brand-new ambassadors of Louis Vuitton, much of LE SSERAFIM's time stateside was outfitted by Nicolas Ghesquière, with the members proudly sporting their LV bags all throughout their stay with the perfect mix and match of high and low to get in some much-need sightseeing while in between schedules.
Fuelled by Chipotle (which, as Huh Yunjin tells us, became Kazuha's new obsession while in the States) and equipped with phones and Y2K cameras galore, the quintet made the most of their first time in the U.S. — and they took Teen Vogue along for the ride. Below, find a visual diary from LE SSERAFIM's first group trip to the U.S., straight from Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae's camera rolls.
