If you're looking for style inspiration, look no further than the vibrant streets of Lagos in Nigeria. The city is notorious for its unwavering creativity, rich colors, hypnotizing patterns, and one-of-a-kind vintage finds, making it one of the world's most fashion-forward places in the world.
While Nigeria has always been an epicenter of style and art, it's gained more attention than ever in the last decade. In the years since, it's become a showcase of some of the most exciting designers in the world, including Abigail Ajobi, Desireé Iyama, and dozens more.
Beyond the runway, the street style in Lagos is just another example of the incredible fashion in the country. Even everyday outfits come complete with intricate storytelling moments, self-expression, and sometimes, protest. There is an unapologetic energy in Lagos street style and it often highlights the intersection of futuristic and traditional dress.
