Kourtney and Kim aren't the only members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan embracing the dolce vita lifestyle — Kylie Jenner is also now jumping on the bandwagon with her very own Italian vacation, for which she has chosen a pair of shoes loved by the fashion police: Margiela Tabis.
When you picture the typical Tabi wearer, you probably think of your average international art school student, chic but aloof Dover Street Market salesperson, or your unemployed stylish friend on a coffee run in Bushwick on a random Wednesday. The divisive split-toe design has long been a signifier of fashion's ultimate IYKYK. But, as it turns out, Kylie Jenner is also now officially a Tabi girlie herself, as evidenced by one of her most recent Instagram photo dumps.
Judging by the pictures she has been uploading online, Jenner has been favoring a very simple color palette while on holiday in Italy, sticking to black mainly via tank tops and backless dresses. However, she's letting her accessories do all the talking.
As evidenced in one of her photos, which you can see above, Jenner has been rocking a Goyard Boston bag, a Jacquemus Le Bambola tote bag, and, the piece de résistance, a pair of Margiela Tabis. Instead of the uber-popular ankle boots, Jenner, for an added summery touch, opted for the black split-toe leather slippers, which are more akin to the Tabi ballerinas and retail for $890.
On the other side of the luxury spectrum (and price tag), Jenner also rocked a pair of $65 glasses from Otra for her vacanza, as immortalized on her TikTok and Instagram. Her pair, in particular, is the Lulu model, which features a thin cat-eye style in shiny black with a smoke lens.

Kylie Jenner's personal style has been undergoing a sort of metamorphosis for the past few months, with the star opting for much more understated styles than she had us accustomed to in the past. However, it looks like she is reintroducing more subtly subversive styles back into her rotation with these daring and fashion-forward accessories. Maybe by winter she will fully commit to a Tabi boot? We will have to wait and see, but in the meantime, you can shop her preferred summer styles below:
