When you're a celebrity on a press tour, one thing is for sure: You're going to be changing clothes a lot. Just ask Kristen Stewart, who is currently promoting her new film Love Lies Bleeding and doing all the wardrobe change-ups as she makes the rounds. For a day in New York City, the actor wore two different ‘fits with very different vibes, and we can’t decide which one we like more.
To chat all things Love Lies Bleeding on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Stewart glammed it up in a strappy multi-strand black halter top; a long, slim-fitting black skirt; and sheer black hosiery paired with black stiletto heels, plus one of her go-to Chanel bags and black sunglasses. This look was totally Stewart: glamorous but edgy and a little bit unexpected.
After the show, Stewart changed into a white baby T-shirt reading “Camp Stewart," but kept the knee-high sheer black stockings and slim skirt, bunching it up to show off the stockings as she left the Late Show set. The stilettos were gone, and in their place a pair of simple white sneakers, plus the Chanel bag and a baseball cap. Easy, comfy, stylish without trying too hard — done and done. Later, Stewart tweaked this ‘fit a bit and added a leather motorcycle jacket on the top; it’s not technically spring yet, so you need a coat!
The Love Lies Bleeding press tour has been so much fun so far.
