Many celebs, from Addison Rae to Hailey Bieber, have dared to take on the lace trend in recent years, but nobody has quite taken it as far as Kristen Stewart this past weekend.
On October 31, 2025, the Twilight alum attended the 28th SCAD Savannah Film Festival in Savannah, Georgia, where she was honored with the Rising Star Director Award for her directorial debut, The Chronology of Water. She graced the red carpet, taking the lace trend to the next level with a lace-on-lace look courtesy of Rodarte.
Dressed by her longtime stylist, Tara Swennen, Stewart arrived at the festival's venue clad in a see-through two-piece made of white lace with floral detailing. Her look also included another layer of lace via a contrasting black lace waistband, which perfectly matched her footwear of choice and her impeccable micro bang updo.
The lace ensemble worn by Stewart is part of Rodarte's spring-summer 2025 ready-to-wear collection, which debuted in September 2024. However, the star made a few key changes to the look as it appeared on the runway.
First, instead of opting for a high collar, she wore the top tied with only one button (à la Miley Cyrus), leaving room for her stacked silver chains, one of which featured a locket, to shine. The star rocked a white triangle bralette under the lace top, which also perfectly framed the décolletage.
Stewart also wore the shirt, which originally features a long tie hem for a more obvious crop top look, untied, creating the illusion that the two-piece was actually a dress flowing from the bodice into the asymmetrical, sheer skirt.
Time and time again, Kristen Stewart has proven that she is not one to shy away from a red carpet statement. From stringy tops and bra-first looks to sheer skirts, no-pants, and even no-shirt, her style knows no bounds, and this look is the perfect proof.
