The one and only North West turned nine on June 15, and true to form, her mom Kim Kardashian spared no expense celebrating her daughter’s big day. The Kardashian-Jenner crew never met a birthday they didn’t want to throw an enormous party for — and North’s was no exception.
Kim shared a handful of pics of North’s “Camp North”-themed festivities, starting with a not-subtle-at-all pic of her private plane ready for North’s friends to board. Kim also posted snaps of North climbing a high bridge (in safety equipment, of course) and posing with her pals in matching plaid PJs that look a lot like a mini SKIMs design.
As for the decor, Kim and her team went all out. Not only was the plane decorated with wood stumps and spiderwebs for a slightly spooky feel, the campers slept in beds with mini tents over them — tends that appeared to be blood-splattered. Was Camp North also a horror-themed birthday or are we just imagining things? Lanterns and stuffed animal deer “taxidermy” added to the rustic look. North and her friends also went tubing behind a boat and generally enjoyed outdoor activities in the wooded environment, perfectly befitting the firstborn daughter of Kimye.
North’s birthday party is another addition in the canon of Kardashian-Jenner festivities; earlier this year, her little sister Chicago West and cousin Stormi Webster had a joint Barbie and LOL Surprise party, and Stormi’s “Stormiworld” amusement park parties are the stuff of legend. North turns 10 in 2023, so hopefully Kim has already started planning a celebration for the double digits!
