Kim Kardashian is eating her words. The reality star and Skims founder cleverly apologized to her sisters Kourtney and Khloé for infamously criticizing their outfits on a trip to Japan in 2015.
Kim and her daughters North and Chicago recently visited Tokyo and clearly had the most amazing time seeing the sights and shopping for Hello Kitty merch, all while wearing coordinating cherry blossom pink outfits. If you look closely at Kim's baby pink faux fur coat, worn over a gray heather sweatsuit set, you'll notice it looks quite familiar to one Khloé donned on the original Japan trip — one Kim poked fun at on an episode of the show. Khloé, too, noticed the similarities and hopped into her big sister's comments with a cheeky "I'm waiting....." comment, as did Kourtney saying, "Long way from the cycling outfits."
If you're not in on the joke, Kim did the heavy lifting for you; she added a screenshot of a tweet comparing her look to Khloé's 2015 fit and the Keeping Up with the Kardashians clip where she says her sisters "look like f**king clowns" on their trip. This funny reference is clearly Kim's way of acknowledging that she was wrong, and maybe even directly inspired by her sisters; she also replied to Khloé's comment with "I'm sorry Khloe and to Kourt too," followed by a heart and clown emoji.

Poking fun at each other's wardrobe choices is part of the Kardashian oeuvre, and Kim in particular never misses an opportunity to get a dig in at her sisters. On an episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden, she had to rank her family from best to worst dressed, giving Kendall and Kris top honors and calling Khloé her worst dressed. She even offered to give Khloé a makeover on an episode of KUWTK. (Kim, of course, infamously had a complete closet overhaul when she started dating Kanye West, which is depicted in its own KUWTK ep.) Her sisters aren't afraid to dish it right back, though, as evidenced by this clip of Khloé calling out Kim's fashion hypocrisy regarding an orange shirt. Hey, isn't that what sisters are for?
