Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner are Met Gala mainstays, and they took it to the next level for Met Gala 2026, wearing complementary looks from different designers
Wearing Gap Studio by Zac Posen, Kendall brought the visible nipple trend to life at this year's event, honoring the dress code “Fashion Is Art.” Kendall revealed that Posen wrote her a letter about working together at the Met Gala, so it was kind of kismet. “She wanted to be a goddess,” Posen said during the Vogue livestream. “It's the goddess of Nike, of game and play.” It also has a "surprise reveal" of wings. To accessorize, Kendall wore several pieces of Buccellati jewelry.
Kylie, meanwhile, wore a skin-tight custom Schiaparelli Couture gown with an ornate necklace and classic Old Hollywood waves. Both sisters seemed to allude to the idea of sister Kim Kardashian's controversial nipple bras. Are they the real thing? Likely no, but it is a fun reference.
Kendall and Kylie Jenner have a rich history of memorable Met Gala looks. Remember Kendall's voluminous Prada skirt at Met Gala 2022? Her sheer Audrey Hepburn-inspired Givenchy in 2021? What about her complementary bright orange look to sister Kylie Jenner's purple in 2019?
This year's Met Gala look is yet another statement from the model, who has recently had the rumor mill aswirl that she's seeing Jacob Elordi. (Maybe she was swayed by his performance as Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights?) And for Kylie, too, who looks like something out of a twisted fairytale herself.
