Dressing for fall can be tricky. It's cool and brisk in the morning, then warm and sunny in the afternoon. You need that extra layer when you leave the house, but by midday, it's far too hot for a coat — or, in Kendall Jenner's case, any pants at all.
Kendall Jenner was recently snapped on a visit to New York City wearing two very different fall weather ensembles. The first, for a morning of clouds and rain, was a simple mix of slim-fitting flared trouser pants, a gray top, black pumps, and a black bag, topped off by a butter yellow raincoat and skinny sunglasses. (Given that it was raining, the shades were probably for paparazzi protection and not for UV rays.)
Kenny's first 'fit was easy, effortless, versatile, and perfect for those chilly September mornings. The next day, the rain stopped, the sun came out, and though temperatures still remained rather low, Jenner ditched the entire vibe of the previous day in favor of a blue striped oxford shirt, black loafers, and black mini shorts so small you can barely see them under her shirt, plus the same black bag and sunglasses from her rainy day 'fit.
If there's one thing we know about Jenner, it's that pants are never a necessity when she's getting dressed. For example, she skipped them at the Met Gala in her sequined bodysuit and looked like a floating pompom at the Jacquemus show sans bottoms. In June, she wore a very similar shirt-and-teeny-shorts look for another trip to NYC, and prior to that, in November 2022, she cozied up the no-pants trend for fall in knit Bottega Veneta undies over black tights. If pants are optional, Kendall Jenner is so in.
