Jordan Chiles has always been a fashionista but her latest courtside appearance proves she’s also the queen of a good styling hack. While at the Lakers game, Chiles rocked a black Chrome Hearts jersey, but wore the top as a dress, pairing it with some thigh-high Timberland x Telfar collab boots. She finished off the look with a bedazzled Los Angeles Lakers hat and a silver butterfly chain necklace.
The gymnast is also clearly tapped into the latest fashion partnerships, because the Timberland x Telfar shoe collection just released on October 8th. The boot features a high upper crafted from soft, barefoot buffed nubuck leather, extending all the way to thigh height, and can be folded down to extend across the top of the foot.
And while the boots are a perfect addition to the look, what we’re all going to be leaning into is the jersey dress trend. As the temperature slowly drops over the next few months, we’ll be transitioning into fall and winter clothes and there’s no better gradual change than using a long-sleeve jersey as a dress. In a place like California, that in-between cold and warm weather can be stylistically confusing, so pairing what normally is a top as a mini dress with some ultra-high boots is the perfect way to participate in fall trends when layering isn’t quite necessary yet.
