Update on March 19, 2024:
JoJo Siwa is kicking off her new “not made for children” era with a brand new single called “Karma.” Following a series of cryptic teasers posted to her various social account, Siwa finally gave fans a teaser of her new music on March 18, 2024.
Siwa began teasing “Karma” with behind-the-scenes clips from the filming of the music video and prep for the song, during which she is seen rehearsing as well as recording some underwater scenes on set. “A new era of life, we are becoming an adult,” she proclaims in another video, in full glam.

Siwa continued the social media spam with BTS content, captioning her every post with what appeared to be lyrics until she finally posted a snippet of the song. “I was a bad girl, I did some bad things. I swear I did it all for fun and it meant nothing,” Siwa sings in the opening lines, accompanied by a string arrangement.
“Thou shall not lie, thou shall not cheat. Thou shall not get caught, or you'll end up just like me,” the pre-chorus goes before the chorus kicks in with: "Karma is a b*tch, I should've known better. If I had a wish, I would've never F'd around. When I saw the pics of you and her, I felt the knife twist. Karma is a b*tch. And she's with you right now." You can listen to this verse below:

Siwa has not announced the exact date “Karma” will be dropping, but it's safe to assume it's imminent, given the amount of spoilers we have gotten. The star is also yet to clarify whether the EDM-inspired song will be part of a bigger project or if it's just a single.

JoJo Siwa is undergoing a transformation — and we are not sure if we are fully ready for it.
On March 11, 2024, JoJo Siwa took to social media to tease her new era with a series of cryptic posts. “Warning. The following content is not made for children and may be disturbing or offensive to some viewers,” the former Dance Moms star announced in a video narrated by a male voice.
Siwa's message continued: “May contain sexual themes, violence, strong language, traumatic scenarios, and flashing lights. Viewer discretion is advised.”

Siwa accompanied the main video post, which she captioned “heads up,” with multiple slides on her Instagram stories, where she urged fans to go to her website to “find out a [secret].” Of course, we headed over to jojosiwa.com immediately and were greeted with a silver JoJo Siwa typographic logo, matching the aesthetic of the disco-inspired warning video.
Siwa's site now features two links prompting followers to pre-save a still-unnamed and otherwise inaccessible project on both Spotify and Apple Music. Her current artist pages on both platforms still boast the technicolor, bow-wearing aesthetic she has been known and loved for most of her career in the limelight, but expect that to change soon.
Over on TikTok, Siwa has been teasing that something big is coming for a bit now. Back in February, she posted a video of herself crying — we are assuming happy tears — during the “biggest meeting of her life.” The video is currently pinned on her profile, so it's safe to say it's still relevant.

To coincide with her new announcement, Siwa posted another TikTok of herself in the car, smiling amply. “Me bc I know why I gave this warning but you don't yet,” she wrote in the video. The caption for the post included a slew of emojis, including a sand clock, a heart on fire, an ocean wave, and a loop logo. Are they clues? We'll find out soon enough!

We could argue that Siwa's transformation has been developing for a while — with the star ditching her trademark bow back in 2021 and going as far as getting her first tattoo last year. Back in 2021, Siwa told Teen Vogue: “I want to move forward, and I want to age as I age. I think I’m in a great spot right now. I love what I look like, I love what I feel like, and I just want to keep that momentum.” If this new teaser is any indication, she seems to have kept her word.
