Jenna Ortega is the latest celebrity to hop on the bleached brows trend, and the results of her transformation are reminding us — and a lot — of Amelia Gray and Gabbriette.
ICYMI: Jenna Ortega debuted her newly bleached eyebrows while promoting her upcoming film Hurry Up Tomorrow at Sony Pictures' CinemaCon — you know, where the title for the long-anticipated Spider-Man 4 movie was unveiled and where we first got to see the actors playing the Beatles in Sam Mendes's upcoming biopics.
The Wednesday actor took to the red carpet and stage in Las Vegas on April 1 wearing a full look by Versace, featuring a purple short suit, matching satin platform heels, and a see-through silk printed shirt with added yellow and brown details.
Despite the A+ look, it was her brows that stole the attention. Ortega's brows are now a handful of shades lighter, though not quite completely gone, and look even fainter in contrast with the subtle cherry cola hairdo she debuted back in March.
The actor's MUA Vincent Oquendo called them “taupe brows” on Instagram while sharing Faye Dunaway served as inspiration. And while we see the references, especially with the ‘70s-inspired ’fit, we can't help but also see Amelia Gray and Gabbriette.
The same day that Ortega debuted her unrecognizable transformation, Amelia Gray and Gabbriette, who have long been compared for their similar looks, starred in a Marc Jacobs campaign, which you can see here, taking the chatter in stride and with this brow makeover, Ortega could almost be their long-lost triplet. The power eyebrows hold!
