The third season of Stranger Things has arrived on Netflix, and as fans continue to note every detail of the new episodes, including Maya Hawke's uncanny resemblance to her parents, some viewers are snapping up all of the Stranger Things-inspired merch. Re-creating the look of your fave character is a lot easier than defeating the Mind Flayer, and if you're looking to rock Eleven's colorful new wardrobe, we've got you covered.
If you haven't consumed the entire season already, or you're not exactly familiar with this latest installment of Stranger Things, this time around Hawkins, Indiana, has fully embraced the '80s. From a mall-based setting complete with Steve Harrington in a sailor's outfit to high-cut swimsuits in an array of neon colors, season three features no shortage of #TBT moments.
As for Eleven, naturally, she's stolen the show, donning a number of neon-colored looks that feature suspenders, scrunchies, and pleated pants. Unfortunately, you may have to make an IRL trip to Hot Topic or Target to see if your store has Eleven's exact romper in stock, but if you're willing to get a little creative, we rounded up some alternative Eleven-inspired options.
Eleven Goes to the Mall With Her BFF
In season three, episode two, Eleven makes a trip to the mall looking totally chic in a colorful button-down shirt. The summer-approved style has flown off the online shelves at Target and Hot Topic, but as you'll notice below, other retailers, including H&M, Urban Outfitters, and Mod Cloth, have similar '80s-approved options. To complete the look, you can wear your hair in loose waves and add a couple of dainty bracelets; American Eagle has you covered for neon options and Target's Wild Fable multipack is perfect for a mix-and-match moment.
Eleven Defends Her Friends in Style
It obviously can't be proven, and it seems extremely unlikely, but we'd like to believe that Eleven's fashionable suspenders contributed to Eleven's powerful heroic efforts in season three, episode four. Wearing a pair of blue suspenders with another artsy button-up and matching scrunchie, the hero of Hawkins looked totally adorable and ready to defend her friends. To re-create this outfit IRL, you can grab your own pair of colorful suspenders, like the green ones retailing at Hot Topic, listed below, or you can put your edgy spin on the style and select a bib overall variation. Pair the suspenders with pleated pants and a half pony featuring a scrunchie and you've got yourself a look fit for a trip to Starcourt Mall.
