Emma Myers may be fresh off her debut starring role in a A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, but leading up to the big day she was all about fashion. On June 224, the actor sat front row for Thom Browne's couture show in Paris wearing a look by the brand. For the show she opted for a plaid minidress, frilly ankle socks and a black Mary Janes, AKA the quintessential Thom Browne look.
Ahead, Teen Vogue caught up with Myers to learn all about how she got ready for the day.
Teen Vogue: Can tell us about your time in Paris this week?
Emma Myers: Paris has been fun! I got to explore a lot more this time than I usually do. Went to a couple museums and walked around a ton.
TV: What is your take on fashion week?
EM: It seems like there's a lot going on around fashion week. It's really fun. Getting to meet people you normally would never run into and seeing the shows is a good time.
TV: How did you decide on the look? Makeup, hair outfit, etc.
EM: The look was the first one I tried on and honestly, it was my pick right from the start. I love the bow and the little dog and just everything about it. Everyone agreed that it was the one, too. I usually curate a little mood board of what I like for hair and makeup and what I think would go well with the look.
TV: What was your prep like day of?
EM: I always try to sleep in as much as possible! I'm very low energy! I'll normally call my family and talk for a long time and then eat some good food before the show.
TV: Favorite moment from the show?
EM: I really loved the homage to the Olympics at the end with the bronze, silver, and gold looks. Very creative and very fitting!
TV: Does your character’s style ever impact your personal style?
EM: Sometimes! I'm pretty set in my own style, but there's normally a few pieces here and there that make their way into my wardrobe,
