This week, the star jetted off to Australia for the long-awaited launch of her beauty brand rhode in the country and also took the chance to make a surprise stop at the Wuthering Heights premiere in Sydney, wearing a sheer lace dress that is making headlines all around the globe.
On February 12, 2026, Wuthering Heights stars Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi flocked to Sydney's State Theatre for the local premiere of the long-awaited film, which debuts worldwide this weekend to coincide with Valentine's Day. While Robbie's and Elordi's appearances were more than expected, given it's their native country, Hailey Bieber turned heads when she graced the blue carpet in a stunning figure-hugging ensemble made entirely of black lace that rivaled Robbie's own press tour for the film.
Bieber arrived at the event in a floor-length dress with a completely transparent silhouette, made by Saint Laurent. The gothic chic ensemble embraced the uber-popular lace trend, merging the elegance of red-carpet dressing with a dose of lingerie-inspired tailoring. Two separate pieces were intricately laced and layered across the chest and bodice, creating the illusion of a separate bralette being worn over the skirt and sleeve inserts.
Bieber's dress perfectly fit the vibes of the modern, sultry reinterpretation of Brontë's seminal oeuvre that Emerald Fennell created for the screen. Though the look stuck to lace to pull most of its weight, Bieber leaned into a more gothic approach by adding long flared sleeves, ribbons, and ruched detailing to create texture through layering. To keep the tonal focus, she opted for dainty black sandals, also by Saint Laurent, to complete the look.
