As trend forecasting points to stony grey tones and warm neutrals to lead design in 2021, we’re looking to Girlfriend Collective to outfit us. The sustainable and size-inclusive athleticwear brand known for its workout and loungewear is coming to us with a new gorgeous neutral-toned all-gender outerwear and separates line, dubbed “For Everyone."
Launching today, February 4, “For Everyone” is a sustainably and ethically made line of garments that come in twelve sizes and are made with all genders in mind. The collection includes an offering of all the wardrobe essentials: Hoodies, crewneck sweatshirts, joggers, t-shirts, leggings, puffer vests, and half-zip and full-zip fleece jackets. These separates are perfect, of course, for the coveted monochrome Yeezy-style look, but the limited color palette definitely lends itself to some mixing and matching, as well. (Yup, we've seen some of you dyeing your clothes brown.)
If you’re not already familiar with Girlfriend Collective’s M.O., the fabric for its garments is created from post-consumer waste, like recycled polyester, water bottles, and other scrap fabric from cutting room floors. On its website, the company provides a full breakdown of what each garment is made of and how much of it is recycled, as well as information on manufacturing, fair trade certifications, and labor conditions and rights.
The brand has been getting a ton of love on TikTok recently for its size inclusivity (all pieces range from XXS to 6XL) as well as the durability of the products, functionality, and commitment to sustainability. We can only imagine the new collection finding itself at home with its TikTok audience as well. Shop our favorite style from the collection below:
