Gigi Hadid plays punky dress-up in a new campaign from Heaven by Marc Jacobs and London-based designer Dilara Findikoglu. Photographed by Alana O’Herlihy and styled by Danielle Emerson, the shoot captures Hadid’s inner angst in head-to-toe Heaven, complete with a piercing smokey eye, pouty lip, and a chopped wet hair look.

Released July 31, 2024, the Dilara x Heaven collab features six statement pieces with stripes, studs and safety pins galore. Findikoglu describes it as the “dream wardrobe” of her teenage self, when she used to wear band tees, miniskirts, and Marc Jacobs platforms to class. It’s quite a full-circle moment, an ode to her angsty girlhood that takes cues from Avril Lavigne, Bikini Kill, ‘90s riot grrrls, and adolescent musings. Findikoglu's dramatically macabre design ethos fuses with Heaven’s signature, youthful air in a way that's both familiar and inventive. From swimwear to corsetry (plus swimwear corsetry), the playful pieces are perfect for mixing and matching.

Our personal faves from the drop include a blush-pink corset top with chiffon ruffle trim, inspired by Victorian mourning bodices. The best part? The front panel features a surrealist reimagination of Marie Antoinette’s feast, painted with bold strokes by Sophie McElligott.
Another memorable piece is a jet-black babydoll dress with exaggerated bow sleeves, lacing accents, and raw hem, certainly alluding to Visual Kei and Lolita styles. For those brave dressers, a more-than-micro miniskirt with pinstripe panels and lace-up details may be the way to go.

Lastly, in a mismatched font reminiscent of diary doodles, one cut-out baby tee from the collab begs the question, “Tell me God, will Dilara go to Heaven?” By the looks of it, all signs certainly point to yes. Shop the new collection online here.
