On October 10, GAP debuted its newest collection with Los Angeles-based brand Cult Gaia. For over 50 years, GAP has remained one of the most recognizable American fashion brands because of its clean basics. But of course, "basics" don't have to be boring and year after year, the brand has proved that by collaborating and consulting heavyweights in fashion.
Inspired by nature, Cult Gaia's founder Jasmine Larian Hekmat approached the collection with sophisticated chicness, creating asymmetrical denim separates, metallic accents, cropped cable knits, and more.
“This collection with Cult Gaia is a beautiful reimagining of Gap icons with a partner who shares our obsession to product detail,” said Mark Breitbard, President & CEO of Gap brand in a statement. “Every piece was created with intention, with a focus on fabrications, hardware, and stitching. We are delivering elevated designs and fresh fits that our customers can cherish forever.”
The price point for items in the collection ranges from $35 for the denim hat up to $500 for leather pants. And everything in the 35-piece collection can be mixed, matched, and layered. I'm particularly obsessed with their hunter-green cargo pants with gold hardware that is interchangeable for every season.
