HBO’s “Euphoria”: 18 Most Memorable Beauty Moments

The series claimed Outstanding Contemporary Makeup (Non-Prosthetic) at the Emmys.

When it first premiered in June 2019, we all knew the beauty world of HBO’s Euphoria was unapparelled. From neon eyeliner to glitter and rhinestones galore, the series’ glam struck a chord with viewers, who soon started to recreate the daring looks at home (sometimes with a little help from the actual Euphoria makeup department). Well, now the series’ outstanding nature is officially certified.

On September 21, the show won the Outstanding Contemporary Makeup (Non-Prosthetic) category at the 2020 Emmy Awards for the looks created for its eighth and final episode, “And Salt The Earth Behind You,” which aired on August 4, 2019.

Variety reported Doniella Davy, Kirsten Sage Coleman, and Tara Lang Shah had claimed the coveted award as Department Head Makeup Artist, Assistant Department Head Makeup Artist, and Makeup Artist, respectively. So, Zendaya isn’t the only one collecting trophies for her contribution to the series.
