The early bird gets the worm. Emma Chamberlain already walked the Met Gala 2025 red carpet, and she pulled out an eye-catching look.
For tonight’s “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” theme and “Tailored for You” dress code, Chamberlain gave the suiting theme a twist with a gown. She wore a custom Courrèges sleeveless, backless blazer dress. Chamberlain opted for an ultra deep plunge on the backside, joining the likes of Kendall Jenner and Sabrina Carpenter.
Going for maximalist styling, she accessorized with sheer gloves layered with silver rings and bracelets on top. She also wore '90s style rectangular silver frame glasses and a stack of earrings — notably missing a necklace.
Chamberlain isn’t afraid to do a bold beauty look, and tonight was no exception. She styled her short blonde hair in spiky pixie cut. She also got glam done by makeup artist Lilly Keys, who used Westman Atelier makeup. The focal point of her makeup was the mauve lipstick and matching blush. She added a bit of an edge with a smokey eye to finish off the look.
While Chamberlain may go viral for her quippy, meme-worthy moments, she’s also known to have a memorable Met Gala red carpet look. Last year, she chose a trendy gothic chic take on the “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” theme, complete with bold eye makeup and lipstick. In 2023, she honored Karl Lagerfeld with a two-piece set, a blazer and maxi skirt in a baby blue hue. The matching headband also helped kickstart a trend. Leaning into the color coordination, her makeup also included a subtle wash of baby blue on the eyes. She also donned a two-piece gown for her take on “Gilded Glamour” in 2022. When she first started hosting the Met Gala red carpet livestream in 2021, she wore a golden cut-out ensemble and a playful long bob.
So, whether she’s hosting or walking the red carpet, it seems like Emma Chamberlain is a name you don’t want to miss during the Met Gala.
