Emma Chamberlain is officially a high school graduate.

The YouTuber and host of the Anything Goes with Emma Chamberlain podcast shared a series of photos on Friday of her receiving her high school diploma five years after she was originally supposed to graduate.

Chamberlain posed in photos wearing a white cap and gown, standing in front of a tapestry that read, “Titans 2019” on it. She held a diploma from Notre Dame High School in Belmont, California — where she was a former student. Chamberlain left high school after the start of her junior year and focused on her burgeoning YouTube career.

Chamberlain titled her Instagram post, “I got my high school diploma," and also shared a photo on her Story with the hashtag, "#graduated.

Emma Chamberlain began her YouTube career in 2016 when she was still in high school, but by 2017, she had revealed that she left traditional schooling at 16 to pursue her career further. She also said she was “having a sh*tty time" and only showed up to school “three times a week.”

“It wasn't my school's fault, it wasn't anyone's fault,” Chamberlain explained in her video at the time. “I just didn't like the environment. I totally had too much on my plate.”

She continued: “Toward the end of the year, I became severely depressed. I couldn't go to school. I couldn't hang out with my friends. I completely cut off all of my friends, I didn't hang out on the weekends, I didn't do anything and it sucked.”

After prioritizing YouTube and her mental health, Chamberlain has since amassed a huge following — with 12 million subscribers on YouTube and 15.2 million followers on Instagram. She's grown to be more than just an internet celebrity and has become a fashion icon with brand deals with Miu Miu, and Levis, and has hosted the Met Gala red carpet more than once now. She's also launched her own coffee company, Chamberlain Coffee, and hosts a podcast.
