At Met Gala 2026, EJAE was in the kind of glam that would make the ladies of HUNTR/X proud.

For her Met Gala debut, the Kpop Demon Hunters star wore Swarovski. Her gown was covered in crystals all over. For makeup, she went with blonde brows and a smokey eye complete with black eyeliner, contrasting the dress. She brought an extra dose of glitter with her shiny lip gloss. For hair, she went for a braided updo inspired by a hairstyle traditionally worn by female artists in Korea during the Joseon dynast, fastening it with crystals. She even matched her nails to the look, her fingertips dripping in sparkles.

EJAE has been pulling look after look as she’s traveled the award and festival circuit celebrating the success of Kpop Demon Hunters. Recently while on stage at Coachella with KATSEYE and her fellow HUNTR/X singers, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami, she wore a sparkly top, short shorts and an impressive collection of belts—all three looked like the girl group of our dreams.

Now a Grammy winner, EJAE has talked about how special “Golden” has become for her, and how this movie changed her life.

“I was very determined to get through the depression, and what helped me was songwriting. It was a happy accident,” she told Vanity Fair. “I was so obsessed with it, and it was helping me so much, I gave it my all. I was desperate to be healed, and it became part of my DNA.”

“This is all new to me,” she added about adjusting to fame. “Back then, I was just a songwriter—a normal person, you know, not a public figure.” Still, she knows the real secret to success: “This is my motto with anything: Do your frickin’ best,” EJAE told the outlet. “Give it your 110%. Never half-ass anything.”
