Dua Lipa Just Wore Zendaya's Controversial Flats With a Very Un-Dua Lipa Look — See Photos

One can only wear so many see-through dresses.

Dua Lipa, frequent sheer dress wearer and exposed thong enthusiast, dialed her look way back for a night out in London over the weekend.

On July 21, the 27-year-old pop star was photographed outside of the Chiltern Firehouse hotel/restaurant wearing a white button-up, jeans, and a classic black shoulder bag. Even her makeup was minimalistic, with just a touch of mascara and a subtle pink lip! Despite the toned-down nature of the look — at least compared to Dua Lipa's history of lingerie-forward dressingthe Barbie star could never be boring.

Dua Lipa managed to elevate the look to Pinterest-worthy heights with the right accessories, including a diamond pinky ring, oversized silver earrings, and Maison Margiela's divisive split-toe Tabi flats — which you may recognize as a slightly altered version of the pair Zendaya recently showed off on her Instagram Story. Unlike Zendaya's white summer shoes, Lipa rocked a strappy black pair that blurs the lines between a classic ballet slipper and a Mary Jane.

Dua Lipa knows all about controversial summer shoes. On July 17, the singer did some serious shopping at Bottega Veneta wearing a leather-on-leather look that is making us sweat just thinking about it. Aside from her black button-down and distressed denim miniskirt, Lipa traipsed around town in an oversized moto jacket with a calf-length quilted leather boot.

Obviously, London is not experiencing the same heat wave that's currently passing through most of the Northern Hemisphere, so we'll just have to wait until fall before we can (attempt to) copy these looks. Looking forward to it.
