Dakota Johnson is packing on the confidence for what's perhaps the boldest and biggest sartorial leap of her career. The actor attended the Madame Web premiere in Los Angeles wearing a daring chain dress by Gucci that was completely see-through, taking the crown when it comes to naked dresses.

The Italian brand's dress could be described as both a mesh dress, a net dress, a nude dress, and perhaps more poignantly, a cobweb dress, given her titular role in the new movie, part of Sony's Spider-Man Universe. To take the illusion of the naked dress to the next level, Johnson wore a tight, backless bodysuit that hugged her curves seamlessly and perfectly matched her skin tone.

Dakota Johnson's Gucci dress for the Madame Web premiere featured a shiny silver design with a deep, plunging neckline extending past the actor's sternum and almost down to her abdomen.

Johnson's Gucci dress was such a statement on its own that it did not really need accessories, so the star opted to wear only a discreet diamond choker to complement it. Matching the lonely accessory, Johnson also kept her beauty minimal, leaving her bangs and hair down with subtle, brown-toned makeup.

Stylist Kate Young is pushing Melanie Griffith's daughter to dress more and more sexy and less romantic for this press run — fitting the qualities of her character in the movie. With a subtle web nod and lots of skin to show, there's no denying that Dakota Johnson looks stunning, and, borrowing Madame Web's clairvoyant abilities, we predict she'll have a very interesting 2024 stylistically. While we wait, see what the other Madame Web stars wore to the premiere here.
