It’s 2018, and Cole Sprouse is serving us tour guide realness. On Monday night, the Riverdale star stopped by the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles for a quick stroll through the North American Mammal Hall. And while he was there, he took selfies with eleven of his favorite dioramas.

Cole’s love for museums is deep and well-documented — they’re basically his natural habitat. In May, he attended his first Met Gala. During a red carpet interview with YouTube sensation Liza Koshy for Vogue, Cole explained that while he was studying archeology at New York University, "This place used to be my old stomping ground. This and the Natural History museum. I interned at the Met for a little bit, so it's nice to come back."

If going from intern to invite-only gala guest isn’t a glow-up, we don’t know what is. No wonder he’s so fond of dioramas. In the Instagram Story photoshoot, the actor displayed a range of emotion, from total boredom to irrepressible joy. The social media montage ended with a pithy joke. “Pretty sure that’s all the animals in North America,” he captioned the final slide.

Welcome to the exhibit.

Here he is looking distracted with two taxidermied brown bears.

He cracked a smile for the harbor seals.

And he seemed amused by the the moose and the mountain goats.

The sea lions, however, were a total disappointment.

And he looked similarly dismayed by the coyotes.

Eyes downcast, he studied the cougars warily.

But he found the musk oxen intriguing.

And he appeared to be satisfied with the American bison.

He also posed with something small, grey, and furry in a tree. The creature was completely unidentifiable, but he seemed pleased.

Finally, Cole leaned down to take a picture with the collared peccary, which are like pigs but scarier. He stared pensively into the camera, but it’s hard to tell to what he was thinking.

And that's the end of Cole's tour for today — next time let's see him take on the Met.
