Time to plug in your curling iron! According to BLACKPINK's Jisoo and Rosé, curls are in for the holiday season.
For a recent Dior event, Jisoo took added face-framing curls to her elegant low updo. Jisoo, who has been an ambassador for the French luxury fashion and beauty house since 2019, looked gorgeous in a sleeveless black lace gown with a high lace neckline and straight skirt, styled with a grommeted black belt and a black Lady Dior bag. Her hair was pulled back in a low knot at the base of her neck, with two tendrils pulled out from the front and curled into soft ringlets on either side of her face. Simple, but so beautiful.
If the look feels familiar, it's probably because Jisoo recently rocked ringlets for a fashion editorial, sharing some behind-the-scenes pics of herself getting prepped; the full style was a combo of Jisoo's own hair and a bunch of extensions, giving her an extra-dramatic, glamorous, opulent look perfectly suited to the holidays. Jisoo also lightened up her color a few levels, swapping black for a soft, subtle warm-toned brown. However, judging by her hair at the Dior event, she seems to be back to black again.
Rosé also loves a curly moment. Earlier this year, she looked almost unrecognizable in big, full curls for a Dazed Korea photoshoot, and in August, she channeled the coquette aesthetic with a head full of teeny pink bows and some curly bangs. She's similarly rocked them at Fashion Week and throughout her new music promotions.
The BLACKPINK bandmates may be doing their own thing right now, but it's sweet to see how they match each other's energy, even if it's not intentional. If you're looking for some easy hair inspo, just follow Rosé and Jisoo's lead and add a few face-framing curls to your look.
