From her ab-baring pastel-blue cape from Chanel to her vintage Jean Paul Gaultier dress from the designer’s 2008 “Sirens” collection, Jennie Kim’s Couture Week wardrobe hasn’t disappointed. But it was the K-Pop singer’s off-duty style that particularly piqued our interest.
While leaving Lenny Kravitz’s fashion week party in Paris, BLACKPINK's Jennie Kim was photographed wearing a turtleneck top, low-rise trousers, and a striped JPG jacket slung over her arm. Finishing off the look? A pair of monochrome Chanel Mary-Janes from the brand’s Cruise 2025 collection – an update on the brand’s famous two-tone pumps, which date all the way back to 1957.
The bow-adorned flats are typical of Jennie’s wardrobe — she wore this same pair before the couture festivities began, rocking them with a dark denim Chanel bag with matching pants and a black top and coat for a chic Parisien look.

The BLACKPINK star is also a fan of Sandy Liang’s dainty ballet pumps, as well as emerging Korean brand Three To Eighty’s platform Mary-Janes. Jennie often wears hers with a pair of white socks, leaning into the schoolgirl vibe.
If the runway is anything to go by, fashion’s penchant for flats isn’t going anywhere soon: see Simone Rocha'ss cross-strap versions for spring-summer 2025, and Gucci’s Horsebit style for Resort 2025. In the meantime, follow Jennie’s lead and add some Chanel Mary-Janes to your new-season wishlist.
